Parents, As we explore ways we can better serve our community, one blaring need for parents is child care. At this time, we are exploring options for a 2-3 year old toddler class (possibly as early as next year) and a 0-1 year old class (possibly in the 25-26 school year). This would look very much like a PreK setting with an emphasis on making sure kids get those early literacy skills they so desperately need. In addition, we are exploring ways to have kids on campus from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., ages 0-13 (this is not our current after-school program,) so that kids have a safe place to stay for parents who might leave early or arrive late due to work. We can ensure they get homework done, snacks and meals, and stay under the watchful eye of trained personnel. This could possibly be a year-round program. Please know that some of the programs could require reasonable tuition costs. Almost 80% of fourth grade students showed mastery of division with up to 4-digits by a 1-digit number. We are so proud of their hard work. Next, they will work on mastering multi-step word problems.

****Playoff News**** Our football team will depart from the school on Friday at 10:00. We are trying to give them an awesome sendoff and we are asking everyone to line the streets on their route to wish them well. They will leave from the high school and go past the Ritter parking lot. At the junction of Frisco and Hwy. 63 (were Family Care Pharmacy is located), they will turn left and head to I-555. If you can, please find a spot and wish them well! If your student wants to attend the game and they need to check out, it will be excused as long as they check in with Coach Wilburn when they arrive at the game.

Homecoming Pep Rally at the gym today at 2:00! It is open to the public! We ask all visitors to sit on the home side in the first two sections. Just a reminder that it will be very hectic when leaving and we ask everyone to use extreme caution and watch out for little ones! All high school car riders will need to be picked up at the gym. Just a reminder...there will be no after-school program today due to Homecoming. The after-school program is also cancelled on Tuesday due to Halloween. See everyone at 2:00!

For the remainder of this week, high school car riders will need to be picked up at the elementary school from the gym. This is due to the homecoming festivities. Please pull down the road by the gym and find a parking spot. Please make sure we all are extremely attentive while picking up students. There will be a lot of students in the area.
